Peace yall, i tried to search under this, but didn't really find a thread that answers this question.
frequency..is this an element that makes the difference of your beats being loud( too loud in most cases) and having your beat Bang (or Bump in other words)
i ask that because i just recently put a track together using my mpc 2000xl and recorded into sonar (as audio) via audiophile 2496 usb. before using the mpc i using soundforge and emu mp7 for the drums. the one thing i notice is that drums from the mpc, even though they are not as Loud as the mp7, the rate of output on the sonar is the same. now correct if i'm wrong, to all my senior engineers and seasoned beat vets, but is that the case with frequency or am i just way off the mark here?
