DIV.Error at 0FE8:995E....WTF Does that mean?!?!?

Hello All,

i'm a newby. Just wanted to ask why this error came up on my screen. I did a search but found nothing.

I have a Classic MPC 2000 and I've been having trouble with my external Zip.

There will be times when I am I trying to load samples and it gives me a "SCSI ERROR" I changed the Zip Drive for a new one because I thought that might be the problem but I still get the same message.

One last thing, I did check what the SCSI ID is and it's set at 5 and the Termination is off. It's the only SCSI device hooked up to the MPC.

disconnect the zip from the MPC- - - flip it to 6 - - - flip termination on - - hook it back up -- then format it again to your MPC - any luck?

Tried that too.

I've tried loading samples and some of them load. i try to load something else and it gives me a SCSI Error.

Is my MPC fried?

Is it always the same samples that refuse to load ? If so it might be corrupted data. Otherwise it might be your zip drive that's dying om you

I've tried loading various samples from different discs. I've also tried another zip drive and it still does the same thing.

I guess I'm going to have to take it in to get looked at.
