burn finished beats from a mpc2000xl? would you just save them to the external zip drive and or what? also does the mpc have its own effects to add to stuff if it does what are they or what do u need to add effects?do you need to buy a mixer to mix down the final product?

Too many questions in 1 thread! lol

I will answer the 1st.

If you want to Save your beatz there is 2 formats.

One is AUDIO

2nd is MIDI

If you want to save / record with AUDIO you must have everything configured so you can record the beat into a software program like Cool Edit.. (there are lots of programs to record with out there though)

the 2nd method is to save your SEQUENCES / and SOUNDS (Pgms) to a ZIP disk (if you have one installed on your MPC)

I suggest taking a glance at your manual.

try playing the audio to a source that can record, CD recorder, PC with burner, what ever!

naw you wouldnt need it. you can use the stereo outputs
