expanding my MPC 1000 setup with rack/synth

well going to a shop near me tommorrow and test those mofos, maybe they´ll accept the micro as part of the payment

aight then, went to the shop today and tested the motif and the fantom...liked the motif more because of the sounds, the fantom has too many synthysh sounds, the motif has better real instruments (and a great range of them, liked those tribal and oriental ones)- as you guys said but the es synthysh sounds are good to me. i also liked the buttons and the jog-dial more than the potis and rather "sloppy" buttons of the xr, but that´s imho. unfortunately the guy responsible for synthesizers wasn´t there (everyday except tuesday...), so i´ll have to call tommorrow and ask him if they might take the mikrokorg as part of the payment. they didn´t have the radium 49, but Edirol ones, so i´ll have to decide if i go with one of those.

EDIT: maybe a mod could create a sticky thread concerning "popular racksynths/soundmodules/workstations" so y´all want be bugged by noobs like me with the same ol´ questions...
