Changing the tempo of sequences...

What options do I have to do this...I have maybe 4 different sequences that are different tempos, but they all sound fine together when played a certain order...now that I'm tracking them out, how if there's a way, can I get them to all be at the same tempo? Piece.

is there any reason you had them at different tempos in your mpc?

IM thinking Midi Time Code. Not 100 percent sure but that should work.

Cause that's how they fit...I have my main sequence which I just mute tracks out of, then I have a slight variation, then the chorus...all three have different tempos.

If you make them all the same tempo, then won't they not line up together anymore?

if I understand your question correctly then you're asking how to make all the sequences the same tempo, right? But you say that the different tempos are the way the song is structured so why do you want to make them all the same tempo? Is the question you meant to ask "how do I sync my MPC to my DAW and keep the tempo changes?". It would also help if you stated what MPC you're using and what you're recording to

Ok...I got an MPC 1000, when I track out to Cubase I'll track out my first sequence, the tempo is 89...but now I want to track out the 2nd sequence which has a tempo of 82...since Cuabse's tempo is already set to 89 (Cause of the first sequence) how can I get this song tracked out and to play properly?

insert tempo changes in cubase. not sure how it works in cubase but in Pro Tools you can insert tempo change markers wherever you need to.

How do you guys figure out tempo...like for me it can either be a 4 bar loop with a tempo of 115 or it can be a 3 bar loop with a tempo of 95...When I chop up a sample and set different sequences with the loops from that sample I can never get the tempo the same on all the sequences...is there any way to easily get them to the same tempo?
