My Futire Setup: Need Help

I'm planning to create a desktop computer studio setup. I know I'm gonna get the M-Powered Pro Tools software, but I don't know if I sould get the Mackie Onyx 1220 digital mixer or get the M-Audio FireWire 1814 Recording Interface(about $30 dollars difference). What would you do?

since M Powered PT wont work with the Mackie Id go with the 1814 which can be found for about 480.00. Also consider that the Mackie's price is without the firewire option which costs 399.00

Yah PT m-powered only works with select m-audio cards. I have a 1010 and it doesn't even work with that ...it works with the 1010le though i think. m-audio's drivers are decent works smooth no problems with my card ever...Not sure about the mackie though never used it. Also there's a version of pro tools that will work with digidesign hardware so maybe peep some of those cards as well.
