Mpc 3000 and asr-10

hello everyone..I want to know if anyone can tell me how I can hook my asr-10 up to my mpc 3000. If you could include any cords, midi cables, etc it would be appreciated. Peace

I'll leave one of them open cause maybe, just maybe someone will decide to help you. I would have tried to help you, but, you double posted which negates any version of help I comtemplated on giving you.

That only ends with me locking your thread and you having to start over on another quest/journey for help.

Here's what I do with my 3k and my ASR:

ASR midi out ---> MPC midi in A (allows you to trigger MPC sounds from the ASR)

ASR midi in ---> MPC midi out A, B, C, D (allows you to sequence the ASR with the MPC)

On the MPC:

1. Select an unused sequence

2. Change DRUM to MIDI using the data wheel

3. Change to 1A (or whichever midi out port the ASR is connected to on the MPC)

You should now be able to hear the ASR when you play the keys. One thing to remember:

TRACK 1 on the ASR translates to MIDI 1A ( or whichever midi out port the ASR is connected to)

TRACK 2 on the ASR translates to MIDI 2A, and so on...
