which mixer

Whats up everyone. I am still learning equipment setup etc. and was wanting some opinion's on a mixer to run my fantom xa and mpc1000. I cant spend much, so help me out here.

don't know your budget but if you don't have much $$$ (like me), i'm in the same boat - searched some reviews on Soundonsound.com and decided to go for the Mackie, the 1402 VLZ Pro looks good value, they're renouned for their low S/N ratio and great sound quality, or the more expensive Onyx series have better all-new components and better EQ's allegedly, i can't wait to get one of these badboys - just make sure you get good powered monitors too!

I bought a Mackie 1604VLZ Pro which was my first mixing board. I'm not dissapointed with it by any means.

i got a mackie 1640vlz too and i like it.

another brand to check out would be soundcraft.

My mixer is also the 1604VLZpro. Nice little mixer that does what it has to do.
