muting more than 2 pads possible?

When you zone out a sample and slice it. Than when u go to shift 6 program than params and u switch the sample playback to mono... Now hit open window. It only gives you the option to set pad mute to two other pads. Is it possible to make more than 3 pads cut each other off???? Do I make sence? BTW i got an xl. If not what are some creative ways yall get around this limitation

Does the xl have mute groups?

All I know about cutting off pads is what I originally posted so anything else is a mystery to me

I just checked the 2kxl's manual and it doesn't have mute groups sooooooooooo...........you can only mute 2 sounds at a time.

No actually u can mute out as many as you want my boy just told me. I never would have thought to do it like that. Thinking outside the box. when he told me how my face was like

You can't have one pad cutoff/mute anymore than 2 other pads. Fact. But there's no reason you can't get your result by using any of the other 63 pads in the program.

Chain mute notes? HAHA, I've never tried it though. Just a thought.

If you make a copy of that sample and put it on a different pad it will allow you to cut off 4 different samples with that one sample..............if you get my drift.

Thats exactly what my homie told me. thats a great tip right thurr. Requires some thought, Like I said dont take "No" for an answer from your mpc. it prob would have took me like a whole month to think of it.
