ok if i hook up an usb from my mac g4 to my mpc 4000 do you think it will recoginize it on my computer and by doing this can i put my beats cd or do i need to hook up a burner to it and will it recognize that please i need help putting my beats on cd

what you need is:

- a nice long piece of string
- yo m0mma
- 3 brain cells

Yes.

The long piece of string will do. First, tie it in a knot. Remember, it has to look like bunny ears.

The string might work.....But, he will still need his mom to explain to him what to do with it. She could also read the manual to him. BTW Feline, 3 brain cells might be asking a lot from him.

since youy from cali, and Im still relatively new ill lace you up....

1. you need aksys app from here to =interact with your mpc and your mac:http://www.akaipro.com/support.html

2. download the manula for akaisys as well, also the refrence manual for the 4000.

3. you will need to put the 4000 in record mode. and set the input to main outputs, so that the 4000 can sample itself. in this case you will be sampling the beat you made on it.

4. save the wave file created onto the hardrive (internal)

5. drag and drop from aksys, onto you g4, than burn disc with app of your choice.

6. for details on any of this you will have to read the manual.
