Rock Drums, MIDI quantize & presets-quick pre-purchase ???s

Hi,

I'm just about to buy an MPC 4000. I have a few questions before I buy:

1) Has anyone programmed Rock Drums with the MPC 4000 with good results?

2) Can I play a 5 minute song live on a MIDI keyboard (or MIDI guitar) and expect the MPC 4000 to nicely quantize it and then play it as some other instrument?

3) Does it have nice quality basic patches for Organ, Flute, Piano, Drums, etc?

4) Bonus ?: Does this thing really kill software for groove in your opinion?
