Ecler SMAC 42? How much is this worth?

I have no idea about DJ'ing. I just bought a 1210 mk2 to start sampling.. And i have read that ill need something to boost the signal. Now, there is a smac 42 available thats in my budget, but im wondering how much they are worth, or whats a good price for one? I hope this thing will hold me off buying a mixer, cause its got 4 line ins. So should be enough with what i have. I need to hook up the Ozonic, to the MPC and the Motif, and also get the turntables working in my setup. Kinda confused right now, so id be happy if someone could tell me how much these puppies go for, or if i should go for a cheaper alternative like the numark mixers or stanton or something like that. I will only be hooking up one deck.

thanks for the reply... im in switzerland homie. so id rather stick to the local market!
But i have no idea about dj'ing so i wanted to know what would be a good solution. I was also flirting with the thought, of buying a cheap old technics amp and just going through that. but withought a cross fader, i wont be able to scratch.
so its either this, or some cheapo numark or so. Cause i am ohhh so broke. bought a mpc, a 1200 mk2, and a bunch of vinyl this month...
and now, its sitting there, and i cant even play through it cause i dont have a mixer. havent tried going through normal line in though..

You'll probably need a mixer.I'm not sure but i assume your TT doesn't have a preamp built in.There are a bunch of d.j.s on here that can help cause i sample strictly off my little vestax joint.It gets the job done for now until i decide to step up to some real tables.Good luck.

My personal opinion is to get a cheapo mixer for your 'table and then get a Beringer Eurorack or Yamaha MG series for the rest of your audio signals this way you can still scratch but you'll have more channels and hopefully more options to expand in the future. If you really don't need to scratch then there is always the option of like you say getting an old Hi-Fi amp or a phono preamp like this. This is just my thoughts so don't read anything into it.

I have an Ecler SMAC, a smaller one with 3 channels. It's a good mixer, sounds great too.

Buying a good dj-mixer might be a smart move if you don't plan on buying more synths or samplers now.
it also depends on how you're going to mix your beats. Some people use a hardware mixer, but a lot of cats now record to a pc or mac. If plan on using a computer (and a soundcard with multiple inputs) in the future, you don't really need a 10 channel mixer.

well, didnt get the ecler mixer.
i am going to hold off on a dj mixer for awhile.
I bought a yamaha ax 396. and technics speakers. so just a normal system. its got outs, so they will go into a normal mixer, with the mpc and the motif. Im thinking about getting the Alesis mixer. After i get all this, imma concentrate on really making music. Its annoying right now to have to switch the wired all over the place. Cant wait to get a nice mixer and hook everything up.
