Question about the AW16G

I used before a pc and cubase. Yesterday i bought an AWG16G.
Sorry, if my english is not so good.
My Question is, how do you use the AW16G to record your Beats.
I mean, do you record the hole beat, or do you record the Tracks step by step.
In Cubase i did record the tracks step by step, so that i could take just
reverb on the snare track and so on.
Can i make it with the aw16g like this?

yeah you can. IT has 8 ins and I know that machine inside out. You just set up your MPC to sent out the tracks to the serpart outs right into the ins of the AW. YOu only get 2 effects, but dynamcs and eq on every channel. Learn it its a good machine.
