ANTOHER SAMPLING QUESTION...

BASICALLY....

1. How do you sample??? like do you have to have a cord going from your tunrtable to your MPC?? then when you have that what else?? or can you lik me somewhere that shows that??

For me I have the Numark PT01, all I do is run a RCA to 1/4" cable into the line out of the turntable into the record in of the MPC 1000. After that I place the vinyl on the turntable and go to the MPC and select Analog mode for recording source and sample the sound I want.

it depends on the sample i'm chopping... if it's off vinyl, i sample from the turntable (obviously) through my mpc and into my computer... then i'll edit the sample and throw it back in the 1k... if it's off an mp3 or wav, i just use my computer to chop and edit the sample, then load it back up in the 1k for beatmaking... once i finish the beat, i play it [using the mpc] and record the song into the computer...

Turntable -> Pre-amp -> MPC
