using more than one software synth in cubase with mpc?

Got the xl hukked up to cubase.

And i want to program the stuff on the mpc seqvenser, but have the different synths in cubase.

How do I do this so I can use different synths? got it to work with 1, but when i press down anoter midi track in cubase it just changes instrument.

i went over every little midi option and setting in both cubase and the mpc and i still cant figure it out. i swear it shouldnt be that hard to do!

I think there is a post somehwere that breaks it down. I know Penfold did some Cubase tutorials a while ago. I wrote a little tutorial myself to play multiple synths in Cubase sx, but so far only half the people who downloaded it got it to work.
