alright peeps, i know yous prob get pissed off with new heads in here asking silly questions but here we go, im brand new to the mpc, had never used one before but had been threatning to buy one for years.
went and got the 2500 last week and have been steadily getting into it a bit more each day ( when work permits !!).
now here is the question, and please excuse my technical speak as i am new to this, i can record my sample into mpc , i can chop the **** no bother , i can save it to my flash card no bother, and i can load the **** back on to a pad no bother, this is the bit thats twating me.
sometimes when i load the sample to a pad ( a 1 bar loop not a 1 hit ) i can play it back by hitting the pad and it will always jump back to the start and play the break again without overlaying it , but sometimes when im doing this it will overlay the sample loads of times so its like 5 or 6 of the same sample overlayed but out of sync depoending on how many times ive hit the pad.
i hope some one can understand what im trying to explain, and before some one tells me to read the manual, ive looked from start to finish and cant seem to see anything, it doesnt help when i dont really know what the problem is im looking for.
thanks in advance
Del

When in Program Mode, select the Pad with the sample, change to "Params" with F3, and set "Voice Overlap" to Mono. That should help

you can get them from VST. they are pretty difficult to fit, given that they are so heavy.

lol just kidding bud, simple to fit if you can undo a few screws.
