Loading Samples from A dvd

I have a mpc2000xl, and the person i bought it from sent me a bunch of dvd's with samples on them. I'm not sure how to load them into the mpc though, because I don't have a computer hooked up to it. I'm new to sampling in general, but I'm assuming that getting samples off a data dvd is way different from sampling off an audio cd...right?

data dvd, can't you just drag and drop the samples from the data dvd onto your desktop and do what you want with them. I've done that before with data dvd's. Just like a data cd.

If you have an computer with a DVD Drive. Pop the DVD in and get the sounds u need and save them to a source(floppy, cd, zip, ect..) that your MPC can load from.

motherf!ckas can't do sh!t without a computer anymore. just put the dvd in a dvd player and hook the audio out of the dvd player into the mpc audio in.
