MPC 2000 Classic .wav question

Whats the best/fastest way to get .wav files from my PC to my MPC2000 classic?
I have an internal zip drive in my PC and have an external zip hooked up to my MPC2000.
I copied a folder with some sub folders full of drum sounds from my PC onto a blank zip100 disk then I put it in the external zip drive hooked up to my MPC. I set the MPC to SCSI-5, choose .wav and hit load. Nothing seems to load.
Any help please my drives just came today and I'm eager to start sampling and learning the machine. Once I figure this out I'll leave you alone, I promise.

The 2000 classic does not recognise folders.

Best thing to do is buy MPC Editor and make programs. Its worth the $29.95 so please buy it. You can make drum programs, sample programs, or whateva. Save them on your zip disk and load up. It beats loadin each sound individually.
(you do get a trial but if u yo have already downloaded it previously you will not be able to download it again. You will need to purchase it.)

i have this same prob with my 2000. i have the iomega 2gb external zip. my mpc reconizes the scsi but wont pull up my sounds. they are not in a folder

OS v 170 and up can recognize and load wavs. Save the wav on pc at 44khz, 16bit. No folders, it will load up just fine.

its fixed.....off to tha races!!!
