PT01 to MPC 1k

I'm about to buy a Numark PT01 turntable to sample with my MPC 1k. From what I understand, this table has a built in phono pre-amp, making a mixer and external pre unneccesary. So, basically, just plug the table into the MPC and you're good to go, right? My main question, is what cable will I need to hook this up? Will a simple 1/4 TRS do alright? Thanks.

Depends on the output of the PT-01. You might need an RCA to 1/4 inch jack cable. That's what i needed to go from my mixer to the MPC

Yes it can go directly connected to your mpc.

If the PT-01 has RCA outputs then you need RCA to 1/4 cables.

If the pt01 has line outs then a simple trs 1/4 cable will work. I don't know the specs of the pt01 though. If it only has phono outs then you will need a phono to 1/4 cable.
