but i don't know what equipment to use. I have turntables and mixer speakers

Are these good equipment to use:
Mackie Onyx 1620 or Mackie 1604-VLZPro
Mbox 2 or Digidesign Digi 002R

since all u have is 2 tt's, a mixer & the xl, i would suggest that u buy a cheap 6-8channel mixer and a cd recorder.
unless u wanna get a new computer that meets the specs of protools--in that case u can get mbox or digi 002.
but u seem to b a newbie, so i also suggest u learn the mpc b4 u go out and spend 2g's on something u no little about, especially if all u wanna do is make a mixtape.

All you need is any computer with a soundcard input, and some free audio recording softwarem theres lots out there.
