loading samples: MPC 2500

i'm new to the MPC, but not to music, sequencing, programming, etc.

i'm trying to load some samples i have (.wav's). i formatted a memory card, saved the samples to a folder, loaded the samples into the mpc (so i thought), but can't locate them.

i loaded from MEMORY CARD. i can see the folders on the card. hit DO IT. i see the files in the folder cycling through the loading menu. at the end of the load, i have less memory in Wave Free, so i'm guessing the wav's were loaded.

now, where do i go to get to them?? i checked for them in internal memory thinking that's where were temporarily loaded, but i don't see them there. i only see the default factory sequences and samples. the ones i loaded are not visible.

am i looking in the wrong place?

never mind. i figured out my problem.

for the record, the manual is semi-helpful. didn't know i actually had to read between the lines.
