I saw (in an interview movie) that Alchemist stored his floppy disks in his fridge. Might be just for the video shooting, who knows. Does anybody know if it actually has a benefit to store floppys and zip disks cool, for example in the fridge? I've heard some audiophiles store their cd's in the freezer, dunno if this goes for other disks as well.

What do you all think?

As long as you keep them in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources they will be fine. It's taking it overboard to store them in the fridge and freezer.

Don't believe or buy into everything you see and read, they do that sometimes just because they know you will buy into it.

It works.
