Sampling from everything

What connections do you guys make to sample from tv's,dvd's,video games,and live tv.Like what kinda cable do you use ?I wanna switch from coaxial.

mine goes from stereo RCA (red/white) to 2 seperate 1/4" inputs on my MPC.

So what is the name (label)of that input on your mpc that the 1/4'' goes into ?

^^^i believe stereo IN-- L and R..

the mpc 1000 does not have a ''stereo in'' .

I forget what in inputs say on the 1k.. i think it may be RECORD IN.. LEFT and RIGHT INPUTS
