MPC vs. Reason NN-XT

I have been composing music with Reason for the last year. I've noticed over the months, the NN-XT is the Device I use most often. It's easy to use and it does everything I need.

I want to step my game up. I like how I can load everything up so quickly with NNXT and edit in a flash. I don't like how the MPC and hardware in general has a tiny screen and you can't see shit on it, and editing a sample is a pain (I've used Akai Z4, and it was a pain). With nnxt, Everything is there on 1 screen. But I know software samplers have their downs. My questions is: SONICALLY, how much better is the MPC 2000 compared to NN-XT? Or any software sampler in general.. I'm looking for a heavier, fuller, more natural sound. I don't feel like I'm getting it anymore with NN-XT.. thanks MPC experts!

it's not better at all, both pretty much give you what you put in....

since nnxt isnt a sampler but a sample player and youre lookin for a specific sound youll have to look into a new signal chain to sample into your pc or a sampler with the characteristics youre looking for, the mpc's sampler is hot garbage imo...

I understand that they will give me the sound I put into them.. Let me rephrase, Does the MPC have a better written algorhythm that "COLORS" the sound, adding more pleasing characteristics? As opposed to NNXT?

why not control nnxt with mpc midi.

why must mpc be VS.reason.. i use them both at the same time.
