Bluebox for MPC1000?? (typical 'new guy' question)

Hey all,
ive just got bluebox, the program that lets you setup everything on your mpc on the screen of your pc. Ive hooked up the usb and everything, computer has found the hardware, all is good. But i can get bluebox to actually recognise the mpc, does anyone know what i can try??!
