MPC Audio Formats

Does this MPC only read .WAV and MPC sound files or are there other formats it can support?

Which mpc u referring to? Also remember u can sample with it so u can sample from any file that u can playback and record into your MPC.

2000XL is what I am using. Sometimes I have a batch of sounds on my PC that I put on a ZIP disk. I recently came across a bunch of .AIF files and saw the MPC cannot read them so just wondering what it CAN read so I dont waste time going back and forth with the wrong file format.

Well it reads Akai, Roland and EMU CD-ROM libraries, snd files, and .wav files. But you could use the MPC editor to create programs that way u know u getting all your sounds loaded up(if done properly).
