i am new to using sofware and i have some questions on it.
1. i have an mpc2000xl and i am planning on using sampletank as a vst controlled by my mpc by midi. my question is how do you track these sounds into say cubase so i can edit my beat and eventually burn to cd. i just dont understand how to do that.
2. if i load a sample straight into my mpc from like a cd or record, does that sample also get tracked into cubase. if not how do i do that.
3. once my beat is tracked into cubase how do i save it. do i save it in cubase or do i save it from the mpc(zip,flashcard,etc..). since there is no real sounds in the mpc and it is getting triggered through the computer, how would this work. do you just save the sequence through the mpc and the sounds in the computer or something else. please help. any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
