help wit my mixer to computer

Ok im gettin a mixer... and i was wondering how i would go about hookin it up to my computer.. especially if im putting mics into the mixer.. and im using a laptop?....

anything i can do... becuase i need better mic quality.. so im done just plugin my mic into the mic in on the laptop..lol

do you have an interface? usb, firewire or pcmcia, possibly one built into the mixer. maybe a sound card with spdif if your mixer supports it. if not look into one of those or youll still end up stuck using an insert cable and mic in from mixr to your base sound card. possibly even do an interface instead of a mixer and use software to mix. many options depending on whacha got and what you like to have n do.

ok .. what interface do you recommend.. software wise...

cuase really i just want to be able to have my MPC, MIc's and TURNTABLES all hooked into or going through the mixer... then into my laptop... can u help?
