sampling 33 bpm beats at 45bpm

I hear this gives the sound a nice grain to it, what do i have to tune it down to to get it to the original pitch?

any tips and tricks?

You would have to pitch it down in the MPC to get it back to how it sounds at 33 1/3 rpm, but by doing this you are adding that hardware crunch you spaek of and saving memory.

saving memory too huh! would that apply with the s950 too? I take it to tune it down 12 would be right?

I'm not sure what the exact pitch/BMP ratio is, just do whatever sounds good.

After you sampled your beat at 45 rpm,have the sample playing at 33 rpm from the record and just tune the recorded sample in you mpc...After a few seconds they should match perfectly

I heard that sp1200 users always need this trick to save up memory...and there it must be quite useful Cause you only get what...a few seconds on it right ??
