should i buy an roland sp 808 for 300$

hey people wassup some1 in my city is selling the 808 for 300 buks.... is worth it?

sorry people i just know that this guys means the roland sp 808 and not the tr 808... however i wanna buy it becouse it looks like a different mpc for only 3 grands

its new in the box with italian manual and zip drive and midi cables...

i would like to know if its funny becouse i wanna try some roland stuff...

any studio tools you can get for under 1000 dollars is a bargain

enhance you studio ..

I had the SP 808 for awhile, gave it to my friend now. Thing is dope. I created my first album on that thing. I used it for a recorder and to throw samples into songs. I also made a ton of dope beats on it but it doesn't really sequence well. Your gonn ahve to put in alot of time to learn how it works with song mode if ur trying to make a beat. I'd pick it up for 300, I still miss mine a lil. Alot of features. for making beats thou cheap try and find a used Ensoniq EPS or EPS 16+, good stuff.
