Zip Drive?

I just got my iomega 100 zip drive and was wondering after use do i let the drive stay on or just unplug it because it does not have an on/off button, also can i save on a 250 meg disk even tho my drive is 100 meg?

No,you can't save on 250 mb disks with the 100 mb zip drive.However I think that your drive can read 250 mb disks,not sure though.

If you unplug the drive to make it go off and then you gonna need to save something again while working with the same session - the mpc might not recognize it (the drive).So,the best way is to keep the drive 'on' but don't let the disks sipn in it for a long time,just put the disks in the drive just for saving/loading data.
And remember the gold rule - save a lot !!

And finally - if you have the 2000xl model,maybe change for the internal card reader.Very reliable and not expensive
