NEED MAJOR ADVICE??????

well.. im looking to buy a mpc 2000. but iv been hearing alot of different things about them. i just wnted to ask a few ?'s to clear things up.

1. how can i get samples from my pc to my mpc?

2. how do i get beats from mpc to cd, or pc ?

3. is mpc better than "m-audio trigger finger" or pc software?(why)

4. which mpc is the best for sampling?

5. what is the cheapest/best turn-table for sampling?

1. Sample(record) into the mpc or load into the mpc. The mpc2000 reads .wav(16bit 44.1khz) and .snd files.

2. Record from MPC to PC or to an Track recorder.
(MPC OUTS to SoundCard IN(highly recommend upgrading) or Track recorder IN. Record it. Mix/Edit It. Export as an .wav. Burn to an CD)

3. Thats an opinionated question. Its all about preference. Some people can make heat on software with just a mouse so its all based on what u like and how easy it allows you to get your work flow going.

4. Any mpc can be used its just a matter of which one offers what u need. But keep in mind u can sample on all the mpcs. Memory limit may be one of your concerns. Remember on the mpc2000/XL u get that 32mb limit. So keep in mind if that will be effecient for your needs.

5. If you just plan on sampling then any turntable/record player will work. If you want to keep it real simple just get your mom or pop's old record player or look at the Numark PT-01 which is portable or just browse around for an used one on ebay, craigslist, pawnshops, ect..
