MPC1000 with ProTools LE

Yo.. just got my mpc, trying to get it sorted. I'm running Tools LE with an intel based mac, i was wondering how to connect it -
do mpcs show up as external devices on protools?
can you sample through any other input than the usb? the mbox doesn't have a second usb input.....

You can not connect them through usb you can only put the outs of your mpc to the ins of the mbox

Midi

MPC = Slave
Protools = Master
