128 EXM

got a question when i install this is it just memory upgrade from 16 mb memory which is installed in the harddrive to 128 mb?also with this can i save or load samples or sounds from my computer onto this memory?also if not what makes it so imortant to get instead of just getting the flash memory chip?

The compact flash card is where you store your samples and or sequences before you turn of the MPC, the expansion you descirbed is the memory where the MPC keeps its samples and or midi data to record/play back beats when the machine is turned on.

So thats where i should just store my samples and sounds...then save my whole songs and beats on the compact flash?that sounds like the wisest thing right?

Yep otherwise you loose all your work when you turn the MPC off.
