I been trying to get my hands on some rare jap vinyl but the price goes way to high, so im going to buy the cd instead and sample it, what cable do i need for the headphone jack to connect to my .25 inch cable?

1. if you have a computer, you can burn the disc to the computer as a wav file and edit it in a free wav editor(audacity 2.0 i think is the one of choice).

2. if you are hellbent on running from a cd player, you would use either a 1/4" to 1/4" cable with a 1/8" adapter on one end, or vice versa, 1/8" to 1/8" with a 1/4"adapter.

personally i would go with number one so you can see the track and cut out most of the parts that you dont want before loading it into the mpc.

Either of these would work fine....I say go with number 1 also!!!!
