Hi there,
i was thinking of buying a MPC, actually i dont know which one but before buying one I would like to clear some questions that are buggin me.
I have already worked with a Yamaha RM 1X and Yamaha RS 7000
- (the Yamaha RM 1X and RS 7000 are grooveboxes like the Roland MC 808 for example) -
and the Yamahas have sounds installed in them (drums, base-lines, pianos , strings, sfx and so on ! ) and you can pick for example the drumkit you want and play it on the Yamahas buttons.
But the MPC's dont have this kits from what i heard .
Ok, i guess drums, hi hats & snares aint that hard to get and load them into a mpc!
But what about a piano for example ? If I Buy a MPC and I Buy a midi Keyboard i still dont have any piano sound or strings come out of the keyboard ? But i want to play my on melodies not just sample , you know ?
I know there are a couple of "Keyboards" like the Fantom X Series that have these sounds in them but they are too expensive ! Is there a way to buy a midi Keyboard for a couple of Bucks, connect it to a PC and get the string sounds for example from the PC ? So I could play my own shit on the keyboard, with the sounds which come from the PC and record all of this into the MPC ?
Or are there maybe affordable Keyboards which have sounds like pianos strings base-lines installed in them , so I could get one of these and connect it to the MPC?
I know this may sound confusing but I really dont know how to explain it better ! especially because my english is whack
thx !
