use MPC2000 classic with Reason 3.0

how can i use the mpc2k with reason

i watched the video from sparq (Using REASON wit the MPC 1000)

i activate the midiSyn Focus in reason and edit the preferences like sparq.
switched the midi device in reason to channel 1 and the bus select is also the one from my card!

i activated the MIDI CLOCK in the mpc in the window (MIDI/SYNC)

i tried to play on the pad's ..... and nothin.

so...im a mpc newbie and im glad for any help!

first check if reason is recognizing your mpc at all. if you press a pad and you see the little light in reason going off then your good to go.

after you've made sure that your mpc is being recognized go into programs then to "notes". press pad 1 and set it to note 36, press pad 2 and set it to 37, etc. I had a problem similar to this until i learned you had to set up the notes this way.

did you mean the sync input light?
no it dosent going off, the light is glowing

I thought the video would help but it only complitcated things a little. becuase i have been trying to get my reason program to sync with my mpc 2xl for the longest.
