Overlap, midi, transmit

Hi everybody
OK, i've linked my mpc2000 to my cpu (via midi) in order to use it on ableton live as a controller . I did everything but the only thing i can't figure out is how to transmit the overlap features of the mpc 2000(poly,mono,note off) ...i mean transmit these features and use them on the samples i've loaded on my computer.

I think you would have to set that in your software. The MPC only transmits the MIDI notes of the pads you press.

Or you can try using the GATE Launch Mode in the sample view in Ableton.
It should work as Note Off from mpc.
