Help ME with emax boot disk dos--inferno

hello have been trying to make a boot disk for emax.

turns out that i have to format my pc, install dos 6, then study computer
science for 3 years to type the command to get dos to open a program.


If anyone could tell me.


A) will dos run on a pentinum pc.

B) Do i have to install dos from floppy disk.



I was just wondering cause i know you cant run the emx prog on the dos shell in windows.

You have to run it seperate.

I did reboot my pc with a dos boot disk. but i couldnt run the program from that version.

I take it that this is because you need to install a "full dos" from floppy or something.

any help very much apreciated!
