you mean, as audio? you want to sample the sounds on your keyboard? or you want to control the sampler part of the mpc with your keyboard? or you want to control what notes the keyboard plays from the mpc?

you know, i think ill throw this one to the newbs.

sure thing

on to the point - you should probably try googling 'MIDI' - if you did you would probably find out that MIDI does not transmit any audio information whatsoever.

the only thing a MIDI cable carries is events (for instance - you press middle C on the keyboard, the MIDI transmits that middle C is being pressed and whatever is hooked up on the other end recognizes this)

if you hook up a MIDI keyboard to an MPC the only thing it can do is trigger the sounds that are already in it, you won't be importing any sounds with MIDI with an MPC or any equipment... ever.

what im trying to do is, get sounds from my keyboard and hear them when i hit the pads on my mpc.

so there is no way of getting the sound from the keyboard to come up on my mpc?

run a midi line out of the mpc to the in of your keyboard and set the correct channel. drums are usually on channel 10. but thats not guaranteed.
