I was wondering if such effect existed on the 1000.

I heard some beats, where the sample was filtered and the main melody was quieter, but the bass was louder. Basically, the beat had a loop, but after 8 bars or so, the melody quiets down, but the bass is still there.

its called a filter. and yes the 1000 can do this. read the manual
