1.) What type of files can the MPC read (wav,mp3...etc)?
2.) Is it possible to construct a whole song in a MPC
3.) In what format do I save my songs...If I want to sell them?
4.) What is the difference between Pro-tools & Reason 3.0
5.) And Finally, what program should I use to lay vocals to a beat.

My Setup

----------------------------
Reason 3.0
MPC-500
Sound Forge
M-audio's 37-Key Ozonic Keyboard
Laptop

1.) What type of files can the MPC read (wav,mp3...etc)?
They can readtoo?!?
and here all this time I've had mine washing dishes.

2.) Is it possible to construct a whole song in a MPC
Nah, just the second sequence, fifth bar, third beat, 54th tick.
3.) In what format do I save my songs...If I want to sell them?
Why would you baptize to save a song and then turn around and pimp/sell it? That's just foul. U aint right.
4.) What is the difference between Pro-tools & Reason 3.0
The reason why pro's use tools? Cause tools let themselves get used so the industry takes the tools for what they can.
5.) And Finally, what program should I use to lay vocals to a beat.
Whatever program(s) gets you hot and bothered, go and lay your "beat" to that all you want.

Hope that helps.

1. Nail files and those three ring binder things.
2. You have to get it permitted first with a general contractor
3. The same format you use when you don't want tp sell them
4. Pro tools are dewalt and reason is how you determine 2 + 2 = 4
5. A program with at least 3 servings of fruit and vegtables a day.
