Question on the MPC1000

Alright I'm sorry if this is a newbie question but I have one. So the MPC doesn't have speakers actually on it to hear sounds from right? You need to either connect it to some sort of speakers or through the headphones to hear anything, is that right? Sorry if these are dumb questions, just wondering if I get an MPC will there be anything else I need to purchase to actually be able to hear the sounds I'm creating. Thanks and any help would be appreciated.

Cables


or just headphones.

I will read the manual as soon as I buy one. I just wanted to know beforehand. Sorry man there is no stores in my town that carry any type of Akai products and I wanted to find out this before I ordered one online. Other than that I don't have any real questions about MPCs. I know how to sequence and all that I just wasn't sure about the sound thing.
