well i was going to get a 25k.. but shyt happned, so now im looking for a budget set up..(if u can call it that)...

im looking for something to replace my 2k, i just want to make regular Boom-bap with some samples....

i have my eye on the Sp1200 or the MPC 60...

i know both are had to find and can get a mad price tag.... but i read good things about both gears...

maybe some of u have played around with those and can let me know.

just want to make music the basic, old school way...

and yea its me.

between the two, if you're only using one machine for everything, the MPC 60 would be a better choice. But if you already have the 2k, keep that and get the SP1200.

honestly, i would keep the 2k. the 60 would be like going back in time. if you are looking for a particular sound, then get a rack sampler like the s950 (which is a 60 without the sequencer, pads etc) or an ASR rack.

the thing is im moving and im not goning to be able to keep my gear....

so im looking for something difrent, cuz the 2k kinda bored me...

but thats what im kind of trying to do go back in time...

if id get a XL but thats the same as a 2k with a little add-on...

so im kind of trying to dump the MPC if it makes any sense...

and get a other working pice of gear... Older newer, just not too expansive..
