Ok, for some what cables do I need to go from my mixer to my record in on my 1000. Its going to be rca coming out of the mixer, but the mpc has 2 stereo 1/4 jacks. So do I need a balanced 1/4 male piece to plug on both red and white coming out of the mixer, or another way, cause right now it doesnt seem to be working. Also, shouldnt the record in be played out of the mpc like monitor out? Yes, I am hooked up to speakers and the mpc does play out it own. Thanks.

You will need a cable like below to go from the RCA OUT(LINE OUT) on Mixer to the RECORD IN on your MPC. That cable is called a Dual RCA to 1/4 Cable. Also make sure u connect your monitors to your STEREO OUTS on your MPC. You should then be good to go.

I have those cables hooked up, but the only thing is, my monitors arent playing them. Is there a set up option that you have to set for the output of the MPC to play whats going into the record? Or are you only going to be able to hear that in the headphones?
