can anyone explain to me about memory -

why do some mpcs say maxed out 32 mb of ram etc, whats this valid for if it doesnt save anything on the machine itself and u have to save on zip discs (well on my xl anyway this is the case)

Thats it! Esentially RAM = internal memory for both sequencing and sampling....

RAM (not the animal) is for mpc powered on work/play.

CF/SD/MCD/HD is for storage/load/save.

Sample time is RAM.
