how do i load sounds

im a new mpc 1000 user and i dont think it has any memory upgrades as of yet do i need a flash card to load sounds to the mpc 1000 from my computer. I have windows vista and when i connect them and try to drag and drop sounds it tells me to insert a disk in removable drive d HHHHHEEEEEELLLPPPP

You need to hook it up to the PC via USB, hit MODE, hit LOAD than the USB TAB. If you have flash card you can drag samples to it that way.

mine came with it, always had a flash card so I don't know if you can access without one like say to the internal memory.

No, you cannot get direct access to the internal memory through USB.
