took drum samples & pasted them into protools (hd accell) onto the grid -then took the same pattern & samples and programmed it into a 4000 (quantized with no swing). the 4000 sounded better - hit harder (but at same volume) -more in control of the beat. why... pt is playing it back at 44.1K so why does it sound a little disjointed compared to the 4000 using midi impulses to trigger its hard drive...
