I'm trippin... It may not be the pads but a setting, don’t know??? Does anyone have a problem with an echo or delay sound when a sample (drum) is triggered?? I have a 2000xl. It happens spontaneously. As I trigger around anyone of the pads give off this echo (delay) sound at any given time, but when I record and play back, the sound is perfect! So far! I don’t get it?? It’s been almost 8 years since I use an mpc. My own that is. I had a partner I worked with on and off who used a 2000 and I do not recall this sound. Then again the mpc was usually set up before I got to the studio. If you've ever heard latency during a computer recording, it sounds exactly like that! Thanks
