Midi from 2000xl to Logic Pro 7

to whomever is using and or knows about Logic Pro and the midi functions, how would i go about recording midi from my MPC 2000xl to Logic Pro 7? i did my research and found nothing.

you need a midi interface of some kind.

mpc > midi interface > logic

its quite simple. the manuals for your gear should tell you everything you need to know.

Yeah, the manuals don't really explain the physical aspects of making it work, they talk more about how midi works. Usually my Apple Pro training series book will get me through anything because unlike the books that come with equipment this thing is a detailed moment to moment on many things, pictures and instructions, but only things that Logic is made to do, not Logic with another component, in this case the MP. i will continue searching.
